Alli Harvey relays the her article: "First, I don't typically have much time — especially if I'm traveling for work. Whatever fresh air time I have must be maximized. Second, safety is a consideration. I'd prefer not to ride my bike on a dangerous road if I can avoid it, and running after dark in a sparsely populated and unfamiliar neighborhood just isn't smart." Alli suggests renting a bike in whichever city you are in for a convenient and fun way to see the outdoors. In addition, take advantage of family and friends that may live in the town you are visiting.
