With RVing on the rise and a robust industry fueling market strategy, Idaho with its outdoor riches seems a natural fit for RVs. But according to findings commissioned by the Idaho Department Of Commerce and reported on by The Idaho Statesman, people more and more are clamouring and angling for the outdoor experience that RVing provides.
Audrey Dutton of The Idaho Statesman relates in her article: "The tourism division within the Idaho Department of Commerce recently commissioned an 'image study' to find out what potential tourists know and think about Idaho. Among the findings were that tourists who fall into the 'active family' and 'outdoor enthusiast' categories are interested in RVing and camping, as opposed to staying in hotels or vacation home lodging."
