Orlando Chili Cook-off Showcases World Chili Eating ChallengeFlorida Brings The Heat With The Town Of Orlando's 9th Annual Chili Festival, Where You Can Sample From 100+ Chili Recipes Crafted By Local Restaurants And Chefs.

Traveling down south, to the point of middle Florida, you will find a fun and indulging event called Orlando Chili Cook-off. Bringing the heat since 2009, the Orlando Chili Cook-off is presented by Northwestern Mutual and one of the city’s most mouthwatering annual festivals. Enjoy a day at Festival Park, sampling from 100+ chili booths, crafted by local restaurants and chefs. Dig into food truck fare, beer and wine, and family-friendly refreshments. Experience live music, games, vendors, multiple DJ stations, and a massive Kids Zone!Plus, the Orlando Chili Cook-off is proud to showcase the World Chili Eating Challenge, featuring the world famous Joey Chestnut, Miki Sudo, and other professional eaters.The Orlando Chili Cook-off presented by Northwestern Mutual benefits Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
According to their website, the chili cook-off is a sanctioned CASI (Chili Appreciation Society International) event, whose mission is to create and maintain a structure that promotes chili cookoff events which bridge the gap between local charitable organizations, the community and corporations. CASI sanctioned chili cookoffs are intended to bring local communities and competitive chili cooks together to raise awareness of chili and raise funds for the local charities, while supporting the community with wholesome, enriched competitive cooking events. Sponsors at this Orlando activity include Publix, Miller Lite, Dave & Busters, Planet Fitness, Tito's Handmade Vodka, The Sugar Sow, and many more. Estimated to attend is 15,000+ campers, chili enthusiasts, partyers, families, and so on. A popular "World Chili Eating Challenge" will also take place and feature 8 major league eaters. It will be located at Festival Park @ 2911 Robinson St. Orlando for only one day, Saturday February 17, 2018 from 12 – 6 PM (rain or shine).
