Portland Business Journal Reports On Hydro Flask Starting Outdoor Products Degree Program At Oregon State University
Hydro Flask company based in Oregon, has recently invested $250,000 to develop Oregon State University's outdoor product degree. This degree would expand choices for individuals who want to enter the outdoor industry; especially since Oregon has one of the best athletic and outdoor industries.
As Portland Business Journal writer Matthew Kish relates in his article: "The money will be used to hire a faculty member who will lead development of the program, including developing the curriculum, building relationships with industry and steering it through the approval process. The university's faculty senate and the state's Higher Education Coordinating Commission would need to approve the program. It could enroll students in fall 2018."
