The Sun Herald, covering the Mississippi Gulf Coast, reports that Majestic RV Resorts will build a second park in Biloxi, this one directly fronting the beach, and close to the Coast Coliseum and Biloxi casinos. The new resort will occupy 22.8 acres on what was originally four parcels of land that had residences on them before Hurricane Katrina. Now only the majestic live oaks remain.
βIt probably will be the largest [RV park] on the Coast and have more amenities,β Sam Ford told the Sun Herald. Ford is an agent with Coldwell Banker Commercial Alfonso Realty in Gulfport and represented Trustmark Bank in the $2.95 million sale. The current Majestic RV park on Pass Road in Biloxi, named Majestic Oaks, is pet friendly and offers visitors an outdoor swimming pool, free coffee all day, free cable TV and WiFi, free use of the business center, free Saturday lunches, a laundry and a casino shuttle. Majestic RV Resorts also operates upscale RV parks in Savannah, Georgia, and Naples, Florida.
