La Mesa RV Hosts Super B Show In SoCal

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that California’s first show highlighting Super B RVs will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds outside San Diego Thursday through Sunday, September 26-29, 2019. Organized by La Mesa RV, admission and parking at the show will be free for visitors. The show will include smaller RVs and conversion vans built on Mercedes, Ford and ProMaster chassis, from eight different manufacturers. More than 125 new and pre-owned units built by Winnebago, Tiffin, Jayco, Entegra Coach, Hymer, Midwest Automotive Designs, Thor Motor Coach, and Pleasure-Way are expected to be on display, with prices clearly marked.
La Mesa RV previously hosted a Super B show in Phoenix back in 2016, and the mini-motorhome field has grown in popularity since then, due to interest from Millennials and others who want to take quick getaways without the bother of a large motorhome. Winnebago introduced the Era built on the Sprinter chassis, with other lines building on the Dodge ProMaster. “Other manufacturers were coming out with products to compete with or like the Era and it just started exploding,” Steve Love of La Mesa RV and organizer of the show, said in a statement. “Plus, with limited parking space in the San Diego market, a Class B motorhome is not only maneuverable but will typically fit in a standard parking space.”
Hours for the show are 9 am to 7 pm each day, with free admission and parking. For additional information, visit RV Show USA or La Mesa RV.
