South Downs National Park marks its 10-year anniversary with an action-packed line-up of events, launches & activities- beginning with the Dark Skies Festival. Next, the Discover National Parks fortnight for the Easter holidays will take place. However, all year long South Downs offers great opportunities for recreational activities and learning experiences.
According to a press release, the National Park’s special qualities are as important today as they were a decade ago. Take for example, the world-class, inspirational landscape of chalk grassland, white cliffs, heathland and woodland. A rich variety of wildlife and habitats including rare and internationally important species.
