The Caravan and Motorhome Club, the UK’s premiere club for the camping public, announced a partnership with the popular BBC show Countryfile to host temporary campgrounds at two unique gatherings this summer. The events, described as “the best country fair in the world,” take place at two of Great Britain’s finest stately homes, Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire Aug. 1-4 and Castle Howard north of York on Aug. 15-18. One of the Britain's most loved TV programs for the past 30 years, BBC’s Countryfile attracts over 5 million viewers a week and has hosted gatherings at Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill, for the past three years. The Castle Howard event is the first Countryfile Live gathering held in northern Britain.
The four day showcases include a range of activities including a Village Green, the Countryfile Main Stage featuring the program presenters, the Wildlife Zone, Farming in Action and The Livestock Zone, as well as plenty of time to explore these unique properties. The Caravan and Motorhome Club is offering pet-friendly campsites at a special price as well as discounted ticket packages. Visitors to the Countryfile events can also take a free test drive in a motorhome.
Tickets and camping reservations are available on the Countryfile Live website.
