New Exercise Technique Mixes Yoga And Water By Using Paddleboards As Floating Mats
There's a new way of exercising that involves mixing yoga and paddleboarding on the waters. It's becoming a new trend with endless new classes being given at beaches, lakes and swimming pools. Many say it's benefits and results are better than regular yoga.
“It’s very similar to when we talk about running on the road versus the trail where it’s not perfect ground,” says Suzie Gulshan, the 48-year-old co-founder of the group Yogis on the Trails. “We’re obviously not doing balancing poses on hills, but that being said it’s not going to be perfectly even. So that’s going to challenge you to work your core even more.”
