Robyn Lowry is a cancer patient that resides in South Hill who is trying to keep her outdoor lifestyle despite her condition. Lowry has always enjoyed camping, hiking, and going on great outdoor adventures with her family. Now that she is undergoing treatment once again, she still makes sure to include the outdoors in her daily life.
As The News Tribune writer Allison Needles relates in her article: "While her treatment caused Lowry to forgo some outside adventures, she tries to continue walking and says hiking up mountains isn’t out of the cards yet. “It did stop me for the last couple of weeks, but I’ve started running again and going on trails,” she said. “I try to get out as often as I can. Whatever I can physically do.” In the meantime, she’s happy to spread her story."
