News 10 Reports On Southern Oregon University Students Who Took Advantage Of The Great Weather By Going Outdoors And Rappelling
This past January, the students of Southern Oregon University have taken advantage of the great weather by going on adventures in the great outdoors. They planned a rappelling trip, which was a first for many of the students. It was a great experience and the students hope for more of these trips in the future.
As News 10 writer Mike Marut relates in his article: The climbing manager for the Southern Oregon University Outdoor Program said he just wanted to get outside. He decided to do a rappelling trip for the first time in the Outdoor Program. "We taught a lot of the new techniques to these people," Nathan Swanson said. "Most of the people that are doing it are beginners and that's kind of what we're reaching out for."
