Rome News Tribune Reports On SummitQuest Founder Who Takes Kids Affected By Cancer On Outdoor Adventures
SummitQuest founder, William James, takes kids who are affected by cancer, or who's families are affected by cancer on outdoor adventures in order to bring joy and peace. The non profit organization was started when James went through his own personal experience when his father was diagnosed with cancer.
As Rome News Tribune writer Severo Avila relates in their article: "Since 2010 SummitQuest has helped hundreds of local kids and their families deal with the hardships of cancer. William and volunteers take the families on outdoor adventures and other activities. This is where William is most himself — outside, helping others to see the challenges and beauty of nature."
