BQLive Reports On Kilmarnock Brothers Moving Their Campervan Rental Co. To London With More Jobs & Bigger Fleet To Cater To Staycationers
Callum and Frazer Johnson started a campervan rental business based at Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport. The concept is to provide luxury campervans and motor homes to those visitors to the area wanting the freedom for a self-drive vacation. To follow the demand, the brothers decided to drive to London to set up base in the bustling Heathrow Airport.
BQLive writer Mike Hughes relates in his article: "Now, with demand from staycationers, mini-mooners and Europeans arriving in London who want to travel the length and breadth of the country, Rockin Vans is travelling 400 miles along the M6 and M40 to set up a new base at Heathrow Airport and are tripling the fleet from 15 to 45." The move also created more jobs. Callum told reporter Mike Hughes: "We are delighted to take our business to the next level by expanding south of the border, making it easier than ever before to pick up and drop off hired vans around the UK, and also to be able to create new jobs and apprenticeships."
