News Blip: Leading Outdoor Connections
Try-City Herald Reports On The Experiences Within Nature That Founder Of Thrive Fitness Adventures Offers Participants In Her Exploration Business
Sarah Lingley first hiked the Skyline Trail during her fist trip to Mount Rainier National Park. When she left she was a new woman, and the coming years of her life would prove so quite definitively. She came to begin a company designed to provide outdoor experiences that would empower participants to re-connect with oneself, nature and other inspiring men and women around them. Participants hike and camp in the park, with opportunities to reflect, journal, meditate and practice yoga.
Tri-City Herald writer Sara Schilling spoke with a woman who used Sarah's service and reports on what she said: "During the weekend, you really do feel like the focus is on you. If you need to go off by yourself or go write in your journal, you can. It’s comforting to have someone who knows what they’re doing (leading the way), Erika Zink said, calling the trip an 'amazing experience.'” Lingley moved to the Tri-Cities from Boston around 2015, and as an engineer who still works in that field part time, she started Thrive Fitness Adventures in 2016. She looks forward to building Thrive Fitness Adventures even bigger than it is.
