Fillmore County Journal's Barb Jeffers Reports On The City's Interest In The New Tiny Homes Trend
Lanesboro, Minnesota has recently acquired some interest in the tiny homes movement that has been trending around the world. Even much so that they invited Kylie Osterhus from Rochester, Minn., to display the tiny house she built to others who might be interested in this simpler life.
“It has taken us a year and three months on and off working on it,” states Osterhus. “It was a family affair” and “the design process was my favorite”. Some benefits to living in a tiny home include being less ecologically damaging, having a home that goes with you, and spending less money on housing expenses.
