MEEKER, Colo. - The Herald Times, a Colorado news source, reports that the former Wilderness Rendezvous, which has been vacant for almost a decade, will be refurbished and open as the Trail & Hitch RV Park and Tiny Home Hotel. Four Points Funding, a private real estate investment firm with offices in Steamboat Springs and Denver, is overseeing the renovations and expects the resort to open in October, 2019. The 19.97-acre property will feature four tiny homes available for nightly rental, 30 full hookup RV sites, three bathhouses, and an on-site laundry.
Meeker is a designated Opportunity Zone, a program that facilitates growth and development in rural communities across the country by providing investors with favorable tax incentives. The Meeker community is the gateway to the Flat Tops Wilderness Area and White River National Forest. The resort itself is located adjacent to 250 miles of off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails, 57 acres of groomed hiking and mountain bike trails, and world-class elk and deer hunting in season.
