KALISPELL, Mont. â NBC Montana reports that the Kalispell City Council has approved the construction of a 50-acre, 330-site RV park to be located at the south end of town. Montana Basecamp RV Park will be a destination RV resort, according to owner Andy Matthews, who told NBC Montana, “We’re hoping to attract people from all across the country to stop into Kalispell rather than just driving through Kalispell.” Kalispell is located close to Glacier National Park and the Flathead Lake and Reservation.
Matthews said that the first section of the multi-phase development should open in May 2019 with 60 RV spaces. The park is within easy access distance of downtown Kalispell, with one entrance and exit on US 93-Alt.
