KOA Announces 2020 Awards

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) announced its annual awards at the 2019 International Convention & Expo in Savannah, Ga. The company selects KOA member campgrounds in every U.S. state and many Canadian provinces to receive the KOA President’s Award and KOA Founder’s Award each year. The top winners are honored at the annual convention.
Jason and Rebecca Tubb, owners of Travelers Rest/Greenville North KOA Holiday in South Carolina were awarded the 2020 Rising Stars award, given to a campground that has been part of the KOA system for five years or less. The Tubbs received the top customer service scores for the entire 515-park KOA system for each of the five years they've owned the campground. The 2020 KOA Campground of the Year award went to Uniontown, Pennsylvania KOA Holiday owned by Denise and Deene Yenchochic. In addition to five-star facilities and amenities, the Yenchochic's campground received one of the top Net Promoter Scores (NPS) of any park in the KOA system from visiting campers, as well as a perfect score on its annual KOA Quality Assurance Review every year since 2016.
