Go RVing Mounts National PR Campaign On Popular TV Shows
Editor's Note: This news item was retrieved through RVIA's website.
Go RVing’s summer PR campaign includes partnerships with popular TV shows on several networks, including the Food Network, Fox & Friends, and CNBC. An episode of The Kitchen, which aired initially on the Food Network on May 19, featured the show hosts preparing two camping recipes in the outdoor kitchen of a fifth wheel made by Prime Time Manufacturing. The intent, according to a statement by Vice President of Go RVing Karen Redfern in the RVIA Today Express newsletter, was to “show how easy and convenient it can be to make great food when you’re traveling in an RV.” The episode will be rebroadcast throughout the summer.
For business network CNBC, Go RVing will set up an RV in the plaza outside the New York Stock Exchange, which will be the setting for Closing Bell anchors to come outside and interview an RV industry executive. The live segments are scheduled May - August. RVs will also be featured on the popular FOX & Friends morning show on Saturday, June 2, with Go RVing spokespersons representing key RVer demographics appearing throughout the morning against the backdrop of an urban campground featuring two trailers and a motorhome that the PR team will construct outside the FOX studio.
