Arizona ARVC’s Annual Award Winners

April 17's Arizona ARVC Convention, draws in approx. 70 private park operators and industry vendors to the annual event. The Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds meeting introduced Arizona ARVC’s board members, as well as the association’s new executive committee for the coming year.
“It was a terrific convention. The board feels that it’s one of the best conventions we’ve had in recent years,” said Jo Ann Mickelson in a press release from Woodall's, who serves as co-executive director of Arizona ARVC along with David Schenck. “I think everyone got the kind of information they were seeking. The vendors were happy, too.” The convention included an introduction to Arizona ARVC’s board members, as well as the association’s new executive committee for the coming year, including President John Sheedy, an associate broker with Park Brokerage Inc.; Vice President Harvey Mickelson, who co-owns and operates J & H RV Resort with Jo Ann Mickelson; Treasurer Roxi Baxley, owner of Strait Web Solutions of Port Angeles, Wash.; and Secretary Annette Weinell of Rincon Country West RV Resort in Tucson.
Winners of Arizona ARVC’s annual awards competition were also announced as follows:
â Voyager RV Resort in Tucson, Mega Park of the Year
â Orangewood Shadows RV Resort in Mesa, Large Park of the Year
â Butterfield RV Resort & Observatory in Benson, Medium Park of the Year
â Utility Supply Group, Kingston, Wash., Supplier of the Year
â Jack Denton Memorial Award, Harvey Mickelson, of J & H RV Resort in Flagstaff
