Del McCoury and family unveiled plans for improvements at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. Improvements included additional amentities, RV hookups and improved trail connections. They are looking to add 40 new RV hookup pads along the North Branch of the Potomac River, that would bring the total number of pads to nearly 500.Greg Larry of the Cumberland Times-News, relays in his article "The McCoury family hosts DelFest, the popular bluegrass and Americana music festival held annually at the fairgrounds on Memorial Day weekend." Chris Harris who provides management for the McCoury family, said that DelFest fans have been asking for more RV hookups. According to Harris there are currently roughly 200 powered hookups with water along with more than 200 unpowered RV hookups. To read more, click here.
