FOREST CITY, Iowa - Winnebago Industries announced a new, multi-year partnership with the National Park Foundation (NPF), the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, to increase public awareness of the NPF Find Your Park/Encuentra Tu Parque campaign and also support NPF’s Open OutDoors for Kids program. “Our purpose, throughout our Winnebago, Grand Design and Chris-Craft families, is to help our customers explore the outdoor lifestyle, enabling extraordinary experiences as they travel, live, work and play,” Winnebago Industries President and CEO Michael Happe said in a press release.
To launch the partnership, Winnebago debuted the limited-edition National Park Foundation Travato at RVX: The RV Experience. The new Travato design, inspired by the National Park Foundation, features exclusive graphics and the Pure3 Energy Management System, using solar power to allow RVers to “cut the cord” from shore power for longer periods of times. Following RVX, James and Stef Adinaro of the Fit RV, set out to travel to less visited national parks in the new Travato sharing stories from the road.
