South Bend Tribune Reports On Keystone RV Recall Of 52,000 Camping Trailers Due To Safety Hazard
Keystone RV Company recently had to recall 52,000 camping trailers because of a defect that was found in their 20011-2017 vehicles. The safety hazard lies within their air conditioning system. The thermostat can cause fire because it is improperly wired.
As South Bend Tribune relates in its article: "In government documents, the company said damage to the wiring could cause an electrical short. The problem was reported by a dealer. Company spokesman Jim Mac said there have been no reports of fires or injuries. For an electrical short to happen, an owner would have to put a screw through a wall and hit two wires, Mac said."
