Following the Nashville tornadoes, parts of Northwest Florida are under a tornado watch â including Escambia, Okalooosa and Santa Rosa counties in the Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach areas. The nasty weather you are witnessing on the news is related to storms that are moving over Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi this morning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Furthermore, the tornado activity in the U.S. in March could see a significant increase, according to AccuWeather. According to a report by USA Today, "At least 24 people were killed in Nashville after tornadoes packing 165 mph winds tore through several counties, reported. Dozens are still missing as search-and-rescue operations continue Wednesday morning"
