Disney’s DuckTales Comes To KOA Campgrounds Across America

BILLINGS, Minn. - Kampgrounds of America (KOA) is partnering with the Disney Channel this summer to bring the beloved characters of the hit series “DuckTales” to campgrounds across the country. The collaborative cross promotion with feature both online and offline content for KOA and the show, featuring Duckburg trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his triplet grandnephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the other residents of McDuck Manor. The Emmy Award-winning hit series airs daily on Disney Channel, with new episodes and shorts debuting throughout the summer, reaching an estimated 9.1 million viewers each week and is the No. 1 rated show among kids 6-11 in its time slot, according to the Disney Channel Media website.
“Disney Channel and KOA both focus on engaging with families and inspiring fun,” KOA Vice President of Marketing Whitney Scott said in a press release announcing the partnership. “By coming together, we are able to bridge offline, online and TV experiences. It’s an exciting opportunity.” Participating KOAs will have DuckTales activity sheets for kids, and some will show episodes at their outdoor movie theaters.
