The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds’ (ARVC) Young Professionals (YP) Committee selected Heather Blankenship to fill the group’s “Chair” position during its recent meeting on Tuesday (Nov. 5). As stated in a press release, Heather comments on her new position: "My first priority was going to be working with ARVC officials to develop a mentor program that will allow young professionals in the industry to learn from more experienced ARVC members."
Ben Quiggle, of Woodall's Campground Management, relays in his article, "Blankenship, owner of the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., will serve as the group’s first chair." She beat out Alycia Clover, co-owner of three Alabama parks, Island Retreat Park, Birmingham South RV Park and Luxury RV Resort; Rachel Godbout, director of national operations at Advanced Outdoor Solutions; and Hannah Piper, operations manager at Evergreen Campsites & Resorts in Wisconsin.
