The Florida Times Union reports that the annual Jacksonville Fall RV Show, sponsored by the Northeast Florida chapter of the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) will move from the Morocco Shrine site in Jacksonville to the Clay County Agricultural Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs, just south of Jacksonville. “We had a very successful show at Morocco Shrine last fall, but when they announced they were selling the property, our members really wanted to look further south, and for a more permanent location,” FRVTA Northeast Region President Ken Loyd told the Times Union. The group also sponsors the annual Jacksonville RV Mega Show at the Equestrian Center in western Duval County in February.

The Jacksonville Fall RV Show, scheduled for Oct. 10-13, will feature hundreds of 2019 models from participating dealers, including Campers Inn RV of Jacksonville, Creative RV, Dick Gore’s RV World of Jacksonville, General RV Center of Orange Park and Ocean Grove RV Supercenter of St. Augustine, as well as booths from RV accessory vendors, craft vendors, along with campgrounds and other RV company representatives, as well as finance and insurance company representatives. According to the Times Union, Florida is the third-highest state when it comes to RV shipments, behind only Texas and California, with the RV industry having a nearly $1 billion economic impact in the state.
