Riversdale Beach, the largest beach resort in Wairarapa, New Zealand, hasn’t had a public campground since the land was bought and subdivided in the early 2000s. While there is a private caravan park, tourists hoping to stay in the town are often told to carry on to Castlepoint. Now, a new push for a campground is gaining momentum.
