Kentucky natives Matthew and Ashley French-Holt have made it their mission to travel across the United States, visiting all 48 states and hiking in all the national parks. It all started as a desire to have the adventure of a lifetime, but that soon turned into a lifetime of adventures. Their journey started in 2015 and they have visited 18 states and 24 national parks up to this point.

As Kitsap Sun writer Terri Gleich reports in the article: "One of the most striking things about the couple is their seriousness of purpose. They didn't embark on their cross-country trek as a lark. They both love travel and have been discussing living in an RV since they were students at the University of Kentucky. Before buying their motorhome from Matthew's mom and stepdad, they lived in it for two weeks to make sure they could stand the close quarters."
