ELKHART, Ind. - Lippert Components, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of LCI Industries, closes out 2019 with a pair of acquisitions expected to double the size of its aftermarket business and advance its long-term growth strategy based on diversification and expanded markets. Lippert will acquire the CURT Group, headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, for approximately $340 million. CURT manufactures and sells branded towing products and truck accessories to the aftermarket, including hitches, towing electricals, ball mounts, and cargo management systems and owns a number of leading brands, including CURT, Aries, Luverne, Retrac, and UWS.

Lippert also announced the acquisition of Polyplastic Group B.V. headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Polyplastic is an innovator in lightweight acrylic window, sunroof and door products. Lippert expects the acquisition to accelerate the company’s expansion in European RV markets, and also plans to introduce Polyplastic’s acrylic windows in North America.
