(WKEF/WRGT) - Representatives from Florida are advocating legislation that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent across the country. Florida recently enacted year-round Daylight Saving Time. The Sunshine Protection Act was recently introduced by Fla. Congressman Vern Buchanan and Senator Marco Rubio, and other reps are supporting the idea. If the legislation is passed, it would apply to states which participate in DST, which begins this Sunday, March 10.
