For the past couple of years, the outdoors has been getting more attention thanks to new innovative products and ways of spending time outdoors. Recently, Standup Paddleboarding (SUP), has been increasing in popularity along with RV camping and fishing. Now outdoor businesses are starting to focus on these popular trends to provide the right services.

As News Channel 9 writer Richard Simms relates in his article: In the last five years standup paddling, often known as SUP, has increased by 23.3 percent (6.6 percent in the last year). That's according to the latest Sports and Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) topline report on sports, fitness and leisure activities. Numerous Chattanooga area businesses have capitalized on that popularity by renting SUP's for those who aren't quite inclined to buy their own.
