KOA Campgrounds has closed at least ten of their campgrounds on the east coast because of coming of Hurricane Florence. U.S. Forest Service officials also decided to close all campgrounds and recreation sites, day use or overnight, in Nantahala and Pisgah national forests by noon Thursday, Sept. 13.
