The dinosaur history of the area makes up the original 80 acres of Dinosaur National Monument, and there are 6 campgrounds in the park.

Visitors of the Dinosaur National Monument can see over 1,500 dinosaur fossils exposed on the cliff face inside the Quarry Exhibit Hall.
