California Campgrounds

The Tahoe Recreation Company – a division of California Land Management – operates campgrounds in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The largest campground is located on Fallen Leaf Lake just southwest of Lake Tahoe and near the popular Pope and Baldwin Beaches. Further north on the west shore of Lake Tahoe the company operates Meek Bay Campground and Beach as well as William Kent Campground.
The prime jewel of the Basin’s campgrounds is on the east shore at Nevada Beach where campers have an unobstructed view across beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Reservations for these campgrounds can be made through www.recreation.gov.
