"HORRIBLE OWNER"

We made the mistake of spending two nights at this Campground which is essentially a parking lot with potholes located on the St. Mary River. The morning of our departure, I was taking a small bag of garbage to their rubbish containers when I was abruptly approached by the OWNER of the park and told to "GET OUT"!! It was 12:02 and their check out time is 12:00. When I told her that I knew that the check was 12:00, she then said in a very mean and aggressive tone: "Then WHY are you STILL here? You need to LEAVE now!" I tried to improve the situation by telling her that we understood and we were PROMPTLY leaving and that she did not need to be so angry! To which she replied, "I'm either going to make YOU mad or my NEXT paying customer will be MAD at me -- SO GET OUT NOW!!!" Needless to say I was shocked and amazed that this business OWNER had such an AGGRESSIVE communication style to someone who just spent $62 (and money in their store) to stay in a parking lot and then be VERBALLY ABUSED in FRONT OF OTHER PATRONS!!! A few minutes later, after we had pulled out of the space, I approached her as she was LEERING at me from the bathrooms. I said, "I'd really like to part as friends, not enemies, but you need to work on your communication style as a business owner. I own a business, as well, and I believe in the value of goodwill and courtesy. She said, "You don't own THIS business so don't tell me how I CAN talk to my customers!" IF YOU WANT TO BE EMBARRASSED PUBLICLY AND BE SPOKEN TO HARSHLY, STAY AT THIS CAMPSITE!!! We will NEVER RETURN!!! And as an aside, there is NO functioning WiFI (even though it is advertised and I tried it at 2 AM) there was dog crap everywhere!!
