Sleepy Hollow Lake is 104 acres of camping fun! We offer all the fundamentals to raise the satisfaction for each visitor during their stay and camping experience. Amenities include: Pull-thru sites, Big Rig access, Tent Camping locations, Full Hook-ups such as water, 20, 30 and 50 AMP electric, Recreation room, Picnic areas, Clean Restrooms and more. Our property is also located within driving distance of the Darien Lake Amusement Park, along with other near-by attractions.
Here on the peaceful Lake of Sleepy Hollow, we offer a wide variety of activities, sure to satisfy everyone’s needs. We are known for our summer camp packages that enable both children and families unlimited use of the campground and its amenities. We are pet friendly so be sure to bring your furry companions. In terms of recreation, Sleepy Hollow Lake possesses beautiful walking trails and waterfront access. We pride ourselves on hosting the best entertainment such as karaoke, Chinese auctions, Bands, Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny, Golf and Horseshoe tournaments, Corn roasts, Potluck dinners, Hayrides, Horse Shoes, Bean Bags and more! Shaun and Brenda Baldwin: just finished our 6th season. This is our happy place and have become family to many campers! It's a great place for young and old! Staff is always accommodating and are also like our family!
My husband and I have been seasonal campers at Sleepy Hollow Lake in Akron NY for the past 3 years! Prior to becoming seasonal campers, my family and I have spent multiple weekends camping at Sleepy Hollow in the last 10 Years. The activities and amenities is what kept us coming back. This past year was a difficult year for everyone. We were so happy Sleepy Hollow was able to open to provide us all with our weekend getaways! During one of our weekends there, we had a very large tree branch fall approximately 5 feet from our camper. We immediately saw the tree that the branch fell from had multiple dead limbs. The campground staff was notified and immediately took action! We came back to camp 2 weeks later to them completely cutting the tree down. We could not have been happier, since we were concerned with our safety as well as other campers safety! Thank you Sleepy Hollow, we?ll see you 20!!
I rented a 1 bedroom cabin for 5 days this past weekend. Cabin was a little out dated but comfortable enough to enjoy. I have my trailer at a place in Canada and I have to give it to Sleepy Hollow on quit time was nice to go to bed and not hear anything. Friendly staff clean grounds and well stocked store.
