Jul 18 , 2026"Nice park...needs some fixes"
We had a very pleasant experience with the staff. They accommodated a site move, when we had an air conditioner issue and needed the most shady spot. Grass was mowed. However, the bath house only had cold water in the showers and the dump station was out of order. Pretty important things that need to be addressed.

Jun 22 , 2026"Great location, convenient to all the beaches and downtown Charleston"
This is my second time camping here in recent months. Employees are very friendly and accommodating. Pricing is very reasonable, especially when using discounts. BUT, there are a several things that definitely need addressing. First and foremost, the showers stalls in the restrooms are disgusting and water pressure is almost nonexistent. Grass needed mowing and general weed control. NEED WI-FI for goodness sake! Security at night is very lax, cars were broken into the second night I was there. The vehicles that were not locked got rummaged through by the would be thieves. Lastly, there were many water filled potholes that need fixing.

Mar 23 , 2026"Convenient stopover"
Convenient stopover! Close to 17, which we like traveling on. However, no noise from highway and the trains others mentioned/complained about, that was barely noticeable. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous, sweet young people! We were able to get propane refills (both Rv and separate tanks), dump and shop at a local Walmart to stock up for food and fuel. Enjoyed the stay overall, quiet and peaceful. Would like to see the bathrooms/showers updated.
