French Broad River Campground

"Amazing site right in the river!"

We?d read enough iffy reviews about this campground that we were dubious about making reservations. Most campgrounds in area were full, so we went ahead and booked two nights. That was a mistake! We really like it here. There are three ducks who hang around in the river. We watched 15 geese floating by and 2 resident Great Blue Herons take up residence in the river mid afternoon. Most RV sites are cement with rings for fires. We had an older picnic table not in great shape but noticed others were newer. The restroom is fine but the shower wasn?t great. I used my camper shower. There are quite a few full-time residents in cabins
