Lots of residential

We chose this campground for the maiden voyage of our new pop up, close to home, has a pool and fishing listed. Pros: We arrived around 8 on Friday and the store was closed but called the number and got immediate assistance. The family that runs this place is awesome, period. Pulled my camper in great for me, got an adapter for the electric and a splitter for the water for us. Had trouble starting fire with damp wood, came and got it started for us. Anything we needed they were on top of it. Pool was nice, not too crowded even for Labor Day Weekend and the fact that there were a ton of people there. Everyone else at this campground was very nice. Restrooms we're ok, could use update. Very close to Starved Rock, a few different state parks, and a lot of other tourist spots. Nice area for camping all around. Cons: The fishing lake was almost a neon green. We drove down the road to a state park, many very close.
