"Have lived in Kentucky 50 years and this was our 1st visit to Cumberland Falls"

A little ways off interstate 75 but a nice drive. This was our 1st night stay as 1st time RV-er's. I was surprised how small the RV campsite was, but at the same time it was very nice. Staff was extremely friendly. Restrooms could use just a little upgrade and could have been a little more clean. The lodge was outstanding and looked like delicious food. They were just getting ready to open the restaurant when we walked through. I was a little disappointed in the gift shop at the State Park. As a former shop owner it seemed like the merchandise had been there a while and the staff was more interested in talking among themselves than to any customers.
