What is your camping personality?

01-18-2016

  1. Your idea of a great camping trip involves:
  1. Hiking trails, mountain climbing, and a remote camp location. Hook ups optional.
  2. A Hammock, cold drink, some burgers on the grill, maybe some conversation. Totally relaxed.
  3. A spa. Maybe a nice massage and a bubble bath, definitely not the “great outdoors.”
  4. Nothing too over the top. A cozy camper stocked with all the comforts of home.
  1. Your favorite structure to camp in is:
    1. Structure? Who needs a structure? The ground for a bed, the sky as a cover, and the stars as nightlights.
    2. A tent will do just fine, as long as there is a nice hammock or lounger – and everything within easy reach.
    3. The nearest five-star hotel.
    4. An RV with all the comforts of home including a queen size, pillow top mattress – oh, and AC!
  1. You are afraid of:
    1. Nothing!
    2. Having to do any kind of work while I’m camping.
    3. Dirt, bugs, lack of electricity – and that’s just for starters.
    4. A lumpy mattress, no internet, bad cell service.
  1. A great camping location is:
    1. The more remote the better as long as it’s outdoors and challenges the survival skills.
    2. Somewhere shady for lounging around outside, maybe with a couple of trees close enough together to string up a hammock.
    3. The nearest five-star hotel.
    4. A nice campground with great amenities, maybe a pool, picnic areas, hiking trails, and full hookups.
  1. When you go camping, the first thing you pack is:
    1. MREs, rappelling equipment, kayak, all the stuff necessary for a great time.
    2. Lounger, cooler full of drinks and snacks, a small personal fan, and a hammock.
    3. Heels, lip gloss, curling iron, everything necessary to look fabulous.
    4. Everything’s already in the RV, just get in and go.

Mostly A’s – You’re The Great Adventurer
You are fearless and probably a little bit of an adrenaline junkie. You don’t mind getting dirty and you live for adventure. You think primitive camping is awesome and you don’t mind roughing it. In fact, you thrive on it.
Mostly B’s – You’re The Rest and Relaxation Camper
You believe that camping should not be work – at all. You camp to rest, relax, and decompress. Camping is your escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A lounger under the awning, drink in hand, you kicked back – life is good.
Mostly C’s – You’re The Diva
Camping just isn’t your thing – no, really, it isn’t your thing at all. You don’t like dirt or bugs or sleeping outside. You are much more comfortable kicked back in a hotel room, watching some HBO and ordering room service. Now THAT’S camping!
Mostly D’s – You’re The Comfy Camper
Your RV is fully outfitted and ready to go at a moment’s notice. It is your home away from home with all the comforts you enjoy. It’s still camping, it’s just a more civilized version of it.
