The investment group Take Down Investments purchased the 10-acre, wooded property and has converted it to Forest RV Park, a family-oriented, seasonal RV park where campers can enter a new era of making memories on the property. The owners are working hard to create a close-knit community for people who will make Forest RV Park their summer home. Forest will offer 108 campsites, each with the option of a gravel base or a 12-foot by 40-foot concrete pad.
Port Clinton News Herald writer, Sheri Trusty, covers in her article, "Mike DeAnna, a partner with Take Down Investments, said the owners made retaining green space throughout the park a priority; each campsite has a 40-foot depth with 30 feet of frontage and an additional 30 feet of green space behind the campers.” A pool is currently under construction at the base of the backside of the mountain, and the mountain’s waterfall will flow once again out its front. A picnic area will be available near the waterfall.
