RV Historian David Woodworth Puts His Vintage Collection Up For Sale
Editor's Note: This news item was retrieved and first published through The National RV Dealers Association's website.
RV historian David Woodworth, who appeared at hundreds of RV retail shows, dealerships, and on TV new programs across the country in 1990s and early 2000s, is liquidating his remaining collection of antique RVs and camping equipment.
Woodworth used the rudimentary charm of antique RVs to promote the amenities found in modern RVs for his audiences across the country. One of the vehicles available is a vintage Lampsteed Kampkar, built on a Model T chassis, that was part of The National RV History sponsored by RVIA.
David had sold a vast portion of his collection of antique RVs that he had in Tehachapi, CA, to an RV museum in Elkhart, IN. A webpage has been dedicated to Woodworth, sharing his story and the collection he let go to the RV/MH Hall of Fame museum.
More details on Woodworth's collection and what's available can be found here.
