The RV Lifestyle continues to evolve as more and more couple reach retirement age in a new mobile landscape. For many, it involves a different way of thinking and an inherent life change. The Joplin Globe caught up with two such RVers, Mary & Allen Anglin who speak about their approach to the RV Lifestyle which they have been doing for 17 years through The Great Recession and other hardships.
Jordan Larimore of The Joplin Global writes in her article: "For Allen and Mary Anglin, RV living is a lifestyle. The couple, 76 and 73, respectively, have been living in an RV full time for 17 years after reaching retirement age and deciding to sell their home, opting for the open road. Mary Anglin said the reasons are pretty simple.
'We don’t have electric bills,' she said. 'We don’t have water bills, we don’t have leaves to do every fall, we don’t have fertilizing to do every spring. If we don’t like our neighbors, we can leave.'
