Keystone RVs To Feature Exclusive Dometic Omni Chill System

ELKHART, Ind. — Dometic announced a partnership with Keystone RV to provide the exclusive Omni Chill air conditioning system in Keystone’s Raptor and Fuzion fifth wheels and toy haulers. Unlike other air conditioning systems, the unique low energy system allows the RVs to run three Dometic ACs simultaneously, providing 35 percent more cooling power. Most RVs with three A/C units can only run two at a time without tripping the breakers. The parties will be together at the Pomona RV show with the product in the Los Angeles Fairplex through October 14, 2018.
Tests indicate the Omni Chill keeps the temperature eight degrees cooler than a standard AC unit in a fifth wheel toy hauler. All three Dometic ACs run on about 32 AMPs total, leaving plenty of power for other appliances and devices. “[Dometic] worked endlessly to co-develop the industry’s best A/C system for the Fuzion brand by not only supplying the A/C units but by running tests for placement of registers, duct work and the amount of vents,” Jeremiah Dumka, Fuzion and Impact product manager, said in a press release.
