OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - KOCO News reports on major flooding from flash floods in Oklahoma City metro area. I-44 was completely shut down at one point near Southwest 29th Street due to high water. The northbound lanes reopened just before noon, while the southbound lanes remain closed.

The southbound lanes of Kilpatrick Turnpike from Northwest 39th Street to Northwest 10th Street is closed due to flooding. The intersection of Reno and Council is also shut down, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department. Crews responded to multiple vehicles stuck in high water in the area.
