Dinosaur Valley RV Park will be hosted its grand opening at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1. The campground is located next to Dinosaur Valley State Park and across the road from Dinosaur World. It is surrounded by state park property and backs directly up to the Paluxy River.Glen Rose Reporter writer, Ashley Inge, covers in her article, "The park will feature a general store, cabins, spacious campsites, primitive camping, teepee camping, swimming pool, oversized hot tub, bicycle and kayak rentals as well as a cowboy camp complete with various livestock and farm animals for the kids to experience." The park is being built in three phases. The first phase, which is almost complete, will have 50 campsites and is slated to be finished by the first of March.
