Campground Associations Prepping To Host ’18 Fall Meetings

State campground associations are beginning to prep for their Fall 2018 meetings. Campground and RV park owners will take stock of the season â what was good, what didn’t work well and what things they will try next year. A part of that reflection and planning is meeting with other park operators in their state and sharing stories and business practices during several fall state association meetings.
For the South Dakota Campground Owners Association (SDCOA) this fall will mark their first ever autumn social. The ‘Autumn Networking Social’ will begin at noon on Nov. 15 at the Governor’s Inn in Pierre, S.D. The Northeast Campground Association (NCA) is set to host their annual ‘Great Escape’ on Sept. 11 & 12 at Pine Cradle Lake Campground in Rome, Penn.
The Ohio Campground Owners Association (OCOA) Fall Conference & Park Operators on Tour (POOT) is set for Oct. 23-24 at the Holiday Inn Roberts Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. The annual meeting begins with a group discussion on industry hot topics, typically ranging from Wi-Fi in parks, health insurance, liability issues and park policies â a wide spectrum of issues, according to Kristy , OCOA executive director.
The Northeast Campground Association (NCA) is set to host their annual ‘Great Escape’ on Sept. 11 & 12 at Pine Cradle Lake Campground in Rome, Penn. The event will feature an NCA board meeting and opportunities for campground owners to spend time together doing fun activities in the area.
