A lawsuit has been filed against Alaska Motor Home, Inc, by the state's Attorney General. The lawsuit accuses owners Peter Harkovitch and Cole Harkovitch of using "unfair and deceptive business practices." Also noted in the complaint was that Alaska Motor Home, sometimes didn't disclose terms of their contracts until clients arrived to pick up their RV.Jennifer Summers of KTVA relays in her article, "Some of the examples of unfair business practices pointed out in the lawsuit include excessive fines of $300 per hour for late returns and $1,000 for putting fish in the RV refrigerator. The complaint also accused Alaska Motor Home of offering customers a gift card in exchange for positive online reviews." According to the complaint, Alaska Motor Home would cancel reservations and some clients were forced to cancel their vacation.
